Davin H Kono

Davin Kono’s practice is focused on complex business litigation. He represents individual, corporate, and governmental clients in antitrust, unfair competition, real property, and regulatory disputes, among other matters. Davin is skilled in navigating the nuances of litigation and developing thoughtful solutions based on each client’s specific needs and goals in order to successfully guide cases to resolution.

Davin earned his Juris Doctor degree cum laude from the University of San Diego School of Law.  While in law school, Davin served as a judicial extern to the Honorable Mitchell D. Dembin, Magistrate Judge of the U.S. District Court, Southern District of California, and as Lead Articles Editor for the San Diego Law Review.  Prior to pursuing his law degree, Davin graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Biology from the University of California, Santa Cruz.

Davin is an active participant in San Diego’s legal community. He contributes to the annual updates of the Continuing Education of the Bar (CEB) publication California Civil Discovery Practice, and he is a member of the San Diego County Bar Association, the Federal Bar Association, the American Bar Association, and the American Inns of Court, Hon. William B. Enright Chapter.

Davin is admitted to practice in California and before the U.S. District Court, Southern District of California.

As a San Diego native, Davin spends his free time surfing, snowboarding, and hiking. He also enjoys exploring new travel destinations with his wife, Kyra, and their family and friends.
